MSDN & TechNeth Live Stavanger

As I´d written earlier; Per Ola and I was invited to participate on the spring 2010 MSDN Live tour of Norway.

We´d been looking forward to this for a while and I must say that we were quite disappointed when we saw the news about the volcano eruption on Iceland and it´s effect on air travel…

Never lost behind a wagon we decided to drive. This is  a 6 hour drive from Oslo if you drive smart, if  you drive stupid it´s a 14 hour drive… Guess witch one we picked?

MSDN Live April 2010

In a couple of week it´s kick-off for his year technology spring tour MSDN & TechNet Live. Anyone interested in Learning the latest news on Asure, SharePoint 2010, Silverlight 4 and Visual Studio 2010.  On the tour it´ll also be a showcase stand for Windows Phone 7 Series and I´ll be there at the stand answering whatever question you might have about wPhone7 in Stavanger (16.4), Bergen (23.4) and Oslo (26.4).

MSDN Live tour in Norway

Microsoft invites you to a day of Windows Mobile 6.5 and Marketplace

myphoneOn Thursday, October 15. (09:00 – 14:30). Microsoft Norway invites developers to Lysaker for a day of  Windows Mobile 6.5 and Marketplace development information. This is a free seminar aimed at developers. This is not only for those already working with mobile development, but also useful for anyone curious about what this is and how to get started.

The first part of the day will be about about WM 6.5, where Director for Windows Phones Norway, Camilla Viken Teigre gives a demo on the new UI and talks about what’s new and improved in this release.

From Finland Vesa-Matti Paananen will be walking us through Marketplace. What is Marketplace and why create Windows Phone applications. Continue Reading

What I miss is having a developer community like i had when i did regular .net work. I miss seeing technology relevant sessions on MSDN Live or NDC and i want to do something about it. Maybe even a MSDN Mobile event?

WebCast: Introduction to Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 development

Maarten Struys had an introductory webcast (level 200) on Thursday, April 23. to Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 for developers. Useful if you are thinking about trying out device development. 

Go to the MSDN WebCast site and register. After registration you can either view or download Office Live Meeting or Windows Media re-run’s of the presentation that gives you a good overview of things you need to consider as an developer before you start.
