Mix09 session on Windows Mobile 6.5

Loke Uei Tan and John Bruno had a session at Mix09 on Windows Mobile 6.5 if your are interested in having a look at how it works and the services launched with it. They are talking about features, the new UI and also about the Windows Mobile application marketplace.

Windows Mobile 6.5 UII am not quite sure, but i think Luke Uei about 30 seconds into the presentation mentioned august 09 as planned release month. I am really looking forward to this release and hope i heard it right.

Microsoft Tag

Kom over et blogginnlegg på Windows Mobile Team bloggen som handler om Microsoft Tag.

Kort fortalt består teknologien i et system for å generere en type strekkode man kan trykke på fysiske produkter som linkes til informasjon på nettet. Via en klient til mobiltelefonen kan man med telefonens kamera ”scanne” strekkoden for å automatisk hente opp mer informasjon om vare eller for eksempel arrangement.

Ser veldig interessant ut og har ”tagget” løsningen for å se nærmere på den. Ser for meg mange områder hvor dette vil kunne komme til nytte. Continue Reading
