Google security horror story?

To have security or just to trust your friendly neighborhood big-brother…

Just came across an article in

It’s about an user (the author) that received a clean brand new Android phone and what happens when he configures his GMail account with the default Gmail app on the device.

“I started to sweat a bit – here I am sitting on a brand new cell phone, log in to Gmail, and suddenly has Android phone in the mail all the info from Google without telling me anything …. “What happens if I press on purchases button again? “… ..

The scary part here is he ONLY entered his Gmail account details, and could password free, purchase apps in Market using pre-saved credit card numbers.

Using ever so trusted Google Translate you can read the article in English here.
