Norwegian telecom authorities announced that the frequency area, 800 to 820 MHz previously reserved for wireless microphones and analogue broadcasting is being taken over by mobile broadband.
Mobile broadband (most likely LTE (4G)) will use the range from 790 to 862 MHz. A growing amount of European telecom authorities are starting to agree on this and in the process “throwing out” other secondary services using this range.
